The Weather Changes

The Weather Changes
The weather where I live changes. It changes everyday. Some people don't want the climate to change. They want it to stay the same. But not me. I like it when the weather changes.
Some days it is hot. The sun is bright. There are no clouds. I play soccer on hot days. I sweat a lot. I come back home from playing soccer. My mom says, "Drink water. You need to drink water when it is hot." So I drink water.
Some days it is cloudy. The sun is hidden. It is hidden behind the clouds. You can't see the sun when it is hidden behind the clouds. Everything looks grey. My mom says, "You can't see the sun. But it is still very strong. Put on some sunscreen." So I put on some sunscreen.
Some day it is rainy. The rain falls down in big, fat drops. It falls to the ground. it makes little puddles. I like to splash around in them. My mom says, "Put on your boots." So I put on my boots.
Some day it is cold. The wind stings my face. It really hurts! I wear a heavy coat. I put up my hood when I go outside. This helps to protect my face from the wind. My mom says, "Don't forget your scarf." I see scarf hanging by the door. I leave it there and run outside.
As you can see, the weather changes a lot where I live. Some people don't like it. But sure do!

He is walking down the street on a Thursday night. The winter air is cold on his face.
"If I had one hundred dollars, I would buy new socks," he says. He continues to walk down the street.
"If I had one hundred dollars, I would get a hair cut," he says. He continues to walk down the street.
"If I had one hundred dollars, I would buy new pants," he says. He continues to walk down the street.
"If I had one hundred dollars, I would buy a new jacket," he says. He continues to walk down the street.
"If I had one hundred dollars, I would buy a hamburger," he says. His stomach rumbled at the thought.
"If I had ..." Leonard looks down at the sidewalk. He cannot believe what he sees! Someone has lost his wallet. Leonard picks it up. Inside are five twenty-dollar bills.
"One hundred dollars!" Leonard says. He is very excited. "Now I can but everything I want!"
Then Leonard begins to think. "But this is not my money," he says. Leonard goes to the police station. He gives a police officer the wallet and money.
"Thank you," says the police officer. Leonard smiles. He turns around and begins to leave the police station. "Hold on," says the police officer. He reaches in his own pocket and gives Leonard ten dollars. "Get yourself something to eat."

The Legend of the Kesodo Ceremony
Once upon a time in Mount Bromo, East Java, there were a couple living there. The new couple wanted to have a child. The had married for a long time but they hadn't got a baby. Every time they prayed to the Gods, asking for a child.
One day, there was a loud noise in the sky when they were praying."You are going to born a baby, and later you will give birth to many children. But I have a requirement for you to obey, if you really want to have children," said the voice. "Whatever you asked, my Lord, we will do it" the couple answered. "You must sacrifice your first son for the Gods," answered the voice.
The couple agreed to sacrifice their first son in the time that was asked by the voice. Then, the wife got pregnant and gave birth to a son. The baby grew up into a handsome, taught man. He was named Kesuma. The couple loved Kesuma very much. The wife gave birth to eleven more children after Kesuma. And, they forgot their promise to sacrifice their first son to the Gods.
One day, the volcano erupted. Before that, there were series of earthquakes followed by thunders in the sky. The sky was very dark, as if it was going to fall down. On the next occasion, there was a voice in the sky, reminding the couple about their promises. The couple was very afraid, but they just couldn't sacrifice their beloved son, Kesuma. However, because the earthquakes and the thunders were becoming more and more horrifying, Kesuma couldn't let his family and all the people in the village die.
Kesuma knew the situation. Then he said to his parents. "I would sacrifice myself in order that our family and all the people in our village will live in peace. For the next times, you all have to sacrifice animals and crops to the Gods." Then he jumped onto the crater of the volcano. Amazingly, the earthquakes and the eruption stopped at once.

My Unique Pets
By Enda - UNGU
I'm used to having pets at home because my family is pet lovers. i have kept two turtles since February 2003. I put them all in one tank in my room.
The name of the male turtle is Donatello and the female one is called Rafael. It is quite easy to keep them. They can survive without food for about two months. However, they need a comfortable place to live. They have to live with imported soil and plants, good water circulation and a piece of dry trunk in the aquarium. Inadequate conditions can cause not only stress but also affect their growth. The worst thing is they may even end in their death!
The weapon of an adult turtle lies in its edge of the shell. He will use this weapon when he is disturbed while he is taking a nap.

Example

Country Concern

In all the discussion over the removal of lead from petrol (and the atmosphere) there doesn't seem to have been any mention of the difference between driving in the city and the country.
When I realized my leaded petrol car is polluting the air wherever I drive, I feel that when you travel through the country, where you only see another car every five to ten minutes, the problem is not as severe as when traffic is concentrated on city roads.
Those who want to penalize order, leaded petrol vehicles and their owners don't seem to appreciate that, in the country, there is no public transport to fall back upon and one's own vehicles is the only way to get about.
I feel that country people. who often have to travel huge distances to the nearest town and who already spend a great deal of money on petrol, should be treated differently to the people who live in the city.

Three Level of Government in Australia
In Australia, there are three level of governments, the federal government, state governments and local governments. All of these levels of government are necessary. This is so for a number of reasons.
First, the federal government is necessary for the big things. They keep the economy in order and look after things like defense. Similarly, the state governments look after the middle sized things. For example, they look after law and order, preventing things like vandalism in schools. Finally, local governments look after the small things. They look after things like collecting rubbish, otherwise everyone would have diseases.
Thus, for the reasons above we can conclude that the three level governments is necessary.
