Dialogue - Hobby (Like)

Do you like animals, Adit?
Rafi : Do you like animals, Adit?
Adit : Yes, I do. What about you?
Rafi : Sure, but my favorite animal is a dog. I always keep a dog as my pet at home.
Adit : What is its name? And what is its color?
Rafi : My dog's name is blacky. Its color is black. Everyday it eats meat and cheese. It also drinks milk every morning.
Adit : Where do you get the dog from?
Rafi : My uncle, Mr. Fahmi, brought me from Bandung last month.
Adit : Do you also keep other pets at home?
Rafi : No, but my father keeps some rabbits and cows at home. Do you also have a pet, Adit?
Adit : No, Rafi. I like rabbit but I don't know how to take care of it.
Rafi : Let me help you to treat them.
Rafi : Thanks a lot, Rafi. How kind you are!
Adit : You're welcome.

Dialogue - Shopping 1 - At The Grocery Store

At Grocery Store
Mr. Bates is an English teacher in "Harapan Kita" Senior High School. He is from Arizona, U.S.A. Today, he is going shopping at the local market where he always goes to shop.
Mr. Bates: Good morning, Ms. Ellen.
Ms. Ellen: Oh, Mr. Bates. Good morning. How are you today?
Mr. Bates: Fine, thank you. And you?
Ms. Ellen: Good. Do you need anything today?
Mr. Bates: I want to make fried rice for dinner. How much are those tomatoes?
Ms. Ellen: They are Rp. 1,500 for one kilogram.
Mr. Bates: Okay. I'll get a half kilogram, please.
Ms. Ellen: Anything else?
Mr. Bates: Yes. I need cucumbers. How many cucumbers are there in one kilogram?
Ms. Ellen: You usually get four or six cucumbers. It costs Rp. 600 per kilogram.
Mr. Bates: Okay. I want one kilogram of cucumber, please.

Based on the dialogue above, we can conclude that:
To ask price, we can say:
  1. How much is the tomato? (Singular noun)
  2. How much are the tomatoes? (Plural noun)
To respond, we can say:
  1. It is Rp. 200,- (Singular noun)
  2. They are Rp. 2,000,- (Plural noun)
